One of the best ways to spend a vacation in Greece is to rent a private Villa.
This way you have your own home for the duration, your independence, all the assistance you need (maid, caretaker etc.), plus the opportunity to mix with the friendly and hospitable local Greeks or those also vacationing like you.

Greek Collection has put together and made available for rentals some of the finest homes in key locations around Greece.

• On arrival, guests are met by our local representatives. In attendance to provide a transfer to the villa and/or assist with the delivery of the guests’ car, if they have rented one beforehand. At the villa they are welcomed by the owners or their representatives who “show in” the new tenants around the villa to show the way things work and give some background on the location (town, island etc.).

• In some cases (if applicable, this is advised at the time of booking), a security bond against losses, damages etc. must be paid to the owner on arrival. The owner in this case presents a list of valuable items in the villa noting their worth (on an inventory list).

• Each villa is equipped with a welcome hamper to provide for the guests immediate consumption, giving time and opportunity to guests to become familiar with the local available shopping facilities, learn their whereabouts and so take care of their own shopping needs. Some of the more up scale properties even offer a shopping service available at an extra cost – payable locally.

• All villas come with daily maid service. The maid comes every day at time suitable for the guests, agreed on arrival with the owner. During the time of service, she does a general tidy up; makes the beds, sweeps up, cleans the kitchen and anything else needed. Usually, given advance notice, she can also do some laundry, wash the dishes, perhaps the shopping, maybe cook a meal etc. The tasks and extra cost agreed on the spot and paid her directly.

• The more up scale villas also have larger staff e.g. on site caretaker, gardener and handyman who work discreetly and quietly without unsettling the guests and can be called upon when needed.

• Before departure, the owners or a representative will meet with the guests again prior to “check out” to ensure no damages have occurred and return the security bond or part thereof in the event of damage or loss.
